There are only two instances in life wherein I get terrible nail envy - when I see a perfect red on a warm, rich skintone (this is a genetic impossibility for me) … and when I see a perfect semi-opaque white. It just seems so silly to ask after a plain sheer neutral, and yet when I show up at the salon/shelf, what I choose never seems to look the same.
But, sheer white being the trend of Spring/Summer, someone had to hit the nail on the head with the perfect shade (sorry), and that someone is cult nail salon and polish maker Ten Over Ten.
Washington, as this whitewash is called, is the perfect flat sheer shade with zero opalescence or shimmer. It makes your nail tips look a healthy white and your skin look somehow prettier. It is the perfect non-manicure manicure in my opinion! Start and end with the nail care system to taste the (non) rainbow of a (non) manicure.
