“Occasionally, i tend to over tweeze my eye brows when going in just to clean them up. naturally, i have big brows but they are not as thick as i wish they were. how can i allow them to grow back while still keeping them groomed, if you will. also, how can i fill them in without them looking obnoxious?” - Simplyjno
Sing it with me:
I’m bringing eyebrows back. Those motherf*ckers don’t know how to act.
So this question sat in my Ask box for a while, and then Anastasia Brow Enhancing Serum Advanced ($45) fell onto my desk.
As you may know, Anastasia is THE cult brow guru. This new serum is clinically proven to encourage the growth of thicker, longer-looking hair in 100% of trial subjects. Excuse me while I apply it to my whole scalp.
It’s meant to be used 2x a day, and the pen format makes this easy. I swipe it on while I’m doing my makeup so it dries before I pencil my brows. Bonus - it’s basically a light taming gel too so you might not even need pencil. At night, just swipe it again. I have to say, I don’t generally overpluck, but I have naturally fine brows so I’ve been enjoying this deep conditioning regimen.
If you’re trying to regrow or plush up your brows, I highly recommend this. In terms of filling them in while they’re growing back, use a fine brush, a fine pencil, or a fine pen like Anastasia’s Ultra-Long Wearing Brow Pen. The key is to use light, fine strokes, i.e. barely even touch your skin.
Does this: Helps bring sexy (eyebrows) back
