File Under / Fragrance Finds We just got a hold

File Under / Fragrance Finds We just got a hold of a few bottle-ettes of by Kilian’s Addictive State of Mind. Three fragrances with one unifying theme: smoke.  These fragrances are NOT your classic fruity floral. They are complex, intricate, mysterious, daring and dark. If you crave those “wow I have NEVER smelled this before” perfumes - you will thoroughly enjoy them. If not to wear, for the olfactive experience.                      Smoke for the Soul,is perhaps the most intense of the three - first impression is a hit of psychotropic tobacco (don’t ask me exactly what that is) and it dries down to a cool woody almost menthal sensation. Intruiging. And halloween-y.  Light my Fire captures the sensation of lighting a fire in a very literal way. When you smell it, the inside of your nose feels hot. This could be attributed to top notes of spicy tobacco leaf with dried cumin. The dry down is a creamy vanilla smoke made from blend of smoky birchwood and tonka bean. Intoxicated has a sharpness to it, a hit of energy and a familar note of vicious Turkish coffee. (Assuming your morning brew is vicious.) This fragrance still has a smokey aspect but it veers towards charred sweetness with dry down notes of burned caramelized sugar.  Oh and if you haven’t clicked one of the links above to see the box each of the fragrances come in… click click away.  Black veined wood and bronze-finished metal, inspired by a classic vintage cigar box. Too. Cool. Does This: by Kilian Addictive State of Mind Fragrances  Is This: Smokey perfumes for olfactive junkies (or Halloween? !)
