A smarty pants wrote me to ask if I could write

A smarty pants wrote me to ask if I could write more about men’s products - for her to share with her male friends and/or buy for her man.  And I said SURE!  But because I believe sharing is caring, I will only be talking about products you will steal from him. HA. Let’s start with summer fragrances.               Just a hypothesis here, but I think even a non-fragrance guy would be open to scent for summer, because let’s face it, in the summer the stink potential is way higher.  So, perhaps now’s the time to buy a little cult fragrance gift for yourself him. I know “unisex” is an unappealing term - CK1 makes me nauseous - but things have changed, and if you can get your man to smell amazing AND have a totally original fragrance for yourself, why not? These two scents are my newest loves - superfresh, warm, clean, can’t-stop-smelling-myself cult favorites.  They smell very different on me than they do on my husband, but equally clean and refreshing. 1. Six Scents Series 3 by Rad Hourani: No. 4 Ascent - Is that name long enough for you?  I want to bathe in this.  It’s like “clean” in a bottle - with no sharpness or greenness.  It’s incredibly soft. Just please don’t let your man read the designer’s description of the scent … (go read it).  $149 2. Molecule 01 - If your guy is remotely science-y, he’ll love this.  It’s an homage to a base note used in many fragrances (Iso E Super - which is a cedar/sandalwood scent), so it’s very pure and adaptive to your skin. Lucky Scent describes it as “devastatingly unique” which is copy they stole from my Twitter bio what we all want to smell like, right? $135 or $5 for a sample vial. I just noticed that Luckyscent.com has free shipping over $75 with code juneship. If you’ve never thought about wearing men’s fragrance, I promise you will once he cracks these open… you’re just a covert spritz away from delicious. Image: via
