Happy Monday all! I’m feeling pretty optimistic about the new week. But in case you are suffering from Monday moodiness, might I recommend treating yourself to a manicure. Or perhaps a new polish.
Because you can never have EVERY color you might need.
On my quest to find polish that almost never chips, I have become another
step leap closer. It’s called SinfulShine from the SinfulColors collection, with gel tech(nology). Consider this your at home alternative to the Gelish manicure, minus mini UV ray machine.
The new SinfulShine collection lives up to its name. The polish is impeccably shiny - even without top coat. And it can be worn for about a week with minimal to no chippage. ! Depending on your preference, one coat is sufficient. If that makes you feel a little iffy, two works great as well.
For optimal results, make sure you take about 10 minutes in between coats. I advise not falling asleep with your hands under a pillow soon after drying. You will wake up with a textured mani.

Getting caught with bad nails = getting caught sneaking into the fridge, possibly in the nude, definitely with cupcake in
We’ve all been there. But, best when avoided.
Butter London has a new dual purpose polish that I had to try: Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat.
One coat takes care of the little lines and ridges that occasionally peek through flat polish. And ensures polish will stay put longer. I tried it with the aquatic Thames Nail Lacquer as part of my mermaid alter ego, great look.
Unexpected use two - the basecoat alone works as a polish. It’s a light nude, and it has a gorgeous matte finish. In my opinion this is THE solution to the I-have-20-minutes-and-gross-nails bind (a situation that happens all to often).
QUICK TIP: Next time after painting your nails, run your hands under cold water. It helps the polish set, removes bubbles, and makes things extra shiny.
Does This: Smooths ridges, adheres polish, and looks great alone
Is This: Butter London Nail Foundation

Pay This: $19
Happy Valentine’s Day ya freaks!
