All of the items below will be contributing to 2014 Halloween attire.

Hint: It will require metallic purples and a lavender lip (TBD). Hair that will hold large volume and a weighted accessory, and of course, finger nails that bring you back to the days of Lisa Frank.

It isn’t a person, item or thing, but a creature of sorts. And no it isn’t Barney (which based on my hints is a valid guess). It has been mentioned in a recent post.

Hi.  If you have no idea what you’re doing for Halloween, I have thoughts.
Here’s my Halloween philosophy: go big or go home … after work, and put on a nice black dress, and some really awesome makeup that’s a little creepy but ensures that dude you “connect with” at the party (or gal, whatever your fancy) doesn’t walk right by you on the street the next day. Going big takes a lot of planning, but for the prettier option, you just need a trip to Sephora + the Halloween store.
The whole Hallo-jam is an excuse to play and experiment. But … I like to make sure I can use some of this stuff later, otherwise it’s kind of a waste of money, right?

I love the idea of doing a gunmetalish lip with Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in Steel ($22). It’s sort of unexpected but still beautiful … You can use the Aqua Cream later as eyeshadow, obvs.  Blend it up with some MAC Lip Glass ($14.50) - also a good investment.  If you want to go darker, start with a base of black lipstick (Make Up Forever has a Satin Black).
Throw on some epic lashes from Paperself ($19) - how amazing are these?  And, just so people don’t think you’re that lame-o who had to be so “pretty” … add silver fangs ($4.99).
So what are you gonna be for Halloween??  I love hearing everyone’s inspirations…
